According to Sen. Adams Oshiomhole, his blood pressure would have reached 360 millimeters of mercury (mmHg) if he had given up on becoming a senator.
This was said by Oshiomhole at the post-inauguration/thank you party held in his honor on Saturday at his country residence in Iyamho, Etsako, Edo.
If you voted against me, my blood pressure will probably be 240/0360 by now, assuming I survive.

It would have been disappointing to Oshiomhole if he had failed in his ambition to become a senator, the governor remarked, adding that many governors have lost their races.
After stepping down as governor, he thanked the residents of Edo North for their support.
He added that the Edo-North district was the only one where President Bola Tinubu won in Edo and thanked the people for supporting him in the presidential election.
