El-rufai Has His Problems, His Kind Of Statements Makes It Difficult For People To Like Him-Babajide Kolade Otitoju

In a recent interview on TVC , a Nigerian journalist known as Babajide Kolade-Otitoju or BKO, provided an analysis of the impact stemming from the withdrawal of the former governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, from his nomination consideration as a federal minister in Nigeria.

According to reports, he expressed, “El-Rufai faces challenges due to his statements that create an obstacle for garnering public affection. When you make divisive comments about Christians and promote a governorship with religious affiliations while situated in Kaduna, it becomes problematic for people to have a favorable view of you. Naturally, such actions will result in disapproval. However, it’s undeniable that Mallam El-Rufai possesses competence. I must admit that I’m disheartened by his absence from the cabinet.”

“I’m genuinely disappointed by his omission from the cabinet because it’s the President who is missing out on a highly capable individual. Granted, he needs to be more mindful of his language, but considering his age of over 60, it’s not too late for him to alter his approach. My main point is that El-Rufai could have brought a positive impact to this administration.”
