Reno Omokri, who is a special assistant to the former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has made a revelation on his official Twitter handle about his counsel to those who claim that God has been silent with them in their walk or relationship with him.
The question of God being silent with people is a major topic among believers across the world, and Omokri has contributed to this subject matter as a minister for over ten years. The statement of the one-time best-selling author as it regards this reads, “In over a decade of ministry, I have counseled many people who complain that God is silent with them. And from my experience, God is usually quiet with people when their Bibles are closed. In a sense, Scripture is God’s Mouth. That is why it is called the Word of God. Words proceed from a person’s mouth.

The televangelist continued, saying, “If you want to hear from your friend, you pick up the phone and call them. Likewise, if you want to hear from God, you should pick up Scripture to hear from His Mouth”. In fact, He may already have been speaking to you, but because you don’t read Scripture, you do not recognize His Voice!
