The Person That Should Be Hired As Minister of Agriculture Must Be Someone Who Works Hard—Faskari
During an interview with Arise , Kabir Faskari, President of the All Farmers Association, stated that the person who must be hired or appointed as the minister of Agriculture Must Be Somebody Who works hard and knows what to do in agriculture. He revealed that most of the people who have been appointed in the past lack the experience and capacity to do the job effectively.

He also revealed that he trained as an architect and knows so much about agriculture. He added that the person must not know all aspects of agriculture because the president also doesn’t know every aspect of all the sectors of the economy. He revealed, however, that he’s an architect and has a foundation in agriculture.
According to him, “I trained as an architect, and I believe I know something about agriculture. You can easily know anything about agriculture because I started farming by escorting my father to the farm at the age of six. Every northern Nigerian knows about agriculture. The kind of person that should be hired, employed, or appointed as minister of agriculture should be somebody with competence who works very hard, has integrity, and knows what to do in agriculture. The person does not have to be an agriculturist because the president is not everything. I believe he’s an accountant, but he is the president of Nigeria; he looks after the petroleum.”
