Obi Won 11 States Because People Considered Him Fresh, Wasn’t He Atiku’s Running Mate In 2019-Momodu

In the live chat with Seun Okin of Channels TV in a live podcast on Twitter, Dele Momodu spoke on why Peter Obi won the 11 states and the FCT during the 2023 Presidential election.

While speaking Dele Momodu noted that Peter Obi 11 states and the Federal Capital Territory because people considered him fresh. Dele Momodu made this statement while replying Seun who asked him if Obi’s departure of PDP led to Atiku’s loss in the 2019 presidential election. Dele Momodu’s statement reads;

“Peter Obi won the 11 states because people considered him fresh. Was he not running mate to Atiku in 2019 so why did he not win those 11 states. This is simple logic. I am surprised people are saying it’s because Wike left, what did Wike in Rivers? what did Seyi Makinde record in Oyo state for Tinubu? What did they record? What did gburugburu record in Enugu? What did the man in Abia record for Tinubu? People saying if they had not left PDP would have won do not take time to do simple Arithmetic”.
