Obi Never Looked At The Circumstance That Even If He Won, He Cannot Be The Runner Up -Robert Clarke

An Elder Statesman and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief Robert Clarke has alleged that the Labour Party candidate, Mr. Peter Obi never looked at the circumstance that even if he had won the petition, he cannot be the runner-up to contest against President Bola Tinubu. He adhered to the fact that Peter Obi never got 25% of the votes cast in 35 states while Atiku got 25% in 35 states.

He said in an interview with Arise TV news, ”From the Obi’s case, Obi never looked at the circumstance that even if he won the petition, he cannot be the runner up. It would still be Atiku vs Tinubu because Obi never scored 25%, and Atiku scored 25% of the 35 states. So if there is going to be a rerun according to the law, it’s Atiku and Tinubu who would have contested against themselves. Therefore if one listenss to this judgment as a lawyer who is ready to learn, who is not depending on facts from which side or not, he will learn a lot.”
