Obasanjo Reveals The Only Reason Corrupt Politicians Will Not Wreck Nigeria
The Former President of Nigeria, Chief Aremu Olusegun Obasanjo has given the only reason why Nigerian politicians will not wreck the country.
The former president said that the only way corrupt politicians Can be stopped is when religious leaders intervene in Nigerian politics.
Obasanjo while receiving the president of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Most Reverend Daniel Okoh at the Presidential Library Penthouse residence in Abeokuta on Wednesday, said that Politicians will drain and wreck the country if they continue to show I don’t care attitude
During the visit, Obasanjo warned that religious leaders should intervene now in politics to ensure that politicians without the fear of God are deprived of having their way to the Villa.
According to him, if they are allowed to have their way, the entire country would regret it, as the 2023 elections may either make or mar Nigeria.
