Unfortunately, contradicting information surrounds his passing. While some sources state that he passed out and died from a drug overdose, others assert that his best friend poisoned him to death.
In other news, Akindele Opeyemi Olufemi, a 32-year-old former security guard was paraded by the Ekiti State Police Command after allegedly breaking to church’s offering vault to steal N600K.
According to reports, the suspect was apprehended by the police as a “Stop and Search” point of the Safer Highways of the Command. The suspect upon being confronted by the officers to search his bag denied them access to his bag.
When the police eventually subdued him, they found numerous denominations of Nigerian currency on him. After he was unable to explain how the money came to be, he was eventually taken into custody.
The money was taken from the Christ Apostolic Church’s camp ground in Ikeji, Ara-Ikeji, Osun State, according to the investigation. The suspect was apprehended by the Ekiti state police command while trying to enter the state.
He admitted to the crime and claimed that he had been a security guard for the church for two years before resigning earlier this year. He then went back to the campground under the guise of a “Personal all night Prayer” and stole money from the church offering vault, which contained more than N600,000.
