Nigeria Ambassador's House Shares A Fence With Gabon Army Barracks, They Heard Gunshots – Bassey Archibong

Former Nigerian Ambassador To Gabon, Bassey Archibong has come out to reveal that the current Nigerian ambassador to Gabon is safe after the military junta took over power in the country.

According to Archibong who appeared in an interview on Arise TV yesterday, the residence where the Nigerian representative stays shares a fence with a Gabonese army cantonment and even though they said there’s been gunshots heard, thru are currently safe.

In his own words as seen on Arise TV…

“After I heard the news of Gabon coup, I tried to call the current ambassador to Gabon. I tried his WhatsApp, it didn’t go and luckily I got him through the regular line. I spoke with him, he told me all is well because, the Nigerian residence he stays in shares a fence with a Gabonese military barrack. So he told me all is well but throughout the night, there’s been gunshots. As far as I know about President Ali Bongo, he’s a well seasoned administrator and he has done well. But since I left Gabon about 7 years ago, I can’t speak about his administration now but when I was there, he was doing well.”
