The Leader of Ijaw National Congress, Professor Benjamin Okaba had reacted to the decision of President Tinubu to scrap the minister of Niger Delta from his portfolio. He alleged in an interview with Arise Tv that President Bola Tinubu cannot handling the minister of Niger Delta because he has other issues to attend to. He stated that if President Bola Tinubu put too much burden on himself it might not end well.
He said, “President Tinubu, has on his shoulder’s minister of Niger Delta, petroleum and others, which show that rather than moving towards force fiscal federalism or moving towards devolution of power. The president wants to carry more and the result of all this is that if you bite too much you will not end well. The president has too many problems to carry having that of ECOWAS and a host of others.”
