Osun state Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke directed the three Senators representating the good people of Osun state at the Red Chamber to fully support the nomination of the immediate past governor of the state, Alhaji Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola as a minister representing Osun state in the cabinet of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This was made known today at the plenary by the Senate Deputy Minority Leader. Senator Lere Oyewumi his twitter handle @lereoyewumi.
According to the Senator representing the good people of Osun West video posted on twitter, Senator Lere Kamorudeen Oyewumi said “Governor Adeleke directed all three osun state senators to endorse the nomination of former Governor Gboyega Oyetola as a minister of the federal republic of Nigeria”.
However, during the screening process of the nominated minister s, the Senate President, Sen. Godswill Akpabio was impressed by the position of Osun PDP Senators and commended Governor Adeleke, describing what happened as “a demonstration of strong political maturity that should be emulated by all”
