Members of the presidential election tribunal have agreed to deliver judgment next week–Jackson Ude

Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s former assistant, Jackson Ude, recently made an announcement on social media about the election tribunal members’ decision to deliver their judgement the following week. The case involves a petition filed by Peter Obi of the LP and Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, disputing Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory in the previous presidential election. The trial commenced on May 8th of the current year.

In his statement, Jackson Ude disclosed that the tribunal’s justices are planning to reveal their decision next week. However, he also mentioned that the exact date of the verdict is being kept confidential by the panel, headed by Justice Haruna Tsammani.

Further elaborating, Ude stated that the panel, under the leadership of Justice Tsammani, intends to inform Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar about the judgement day either a day or two in advance. This information was also conveyed by Jackson Ude in a recent tweet from his verified account, providing additional confirmation of the upcoming decision.

The election tribunal members are set to deliver their verdict on the petition filed by Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar against Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory in the previous presidential election. Jackson Ude, the former assistant to Goodluck Jonathan, disclosed this on social media and also shared that the panel, led by Justice Haruna Tsammani, intends to keep the exact date of the judgement undisclosed until closer to the announcement day.
