The new Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike has reacted to the uncompleted iconic Millennium Tower in Abuja. The project has been abandoned for several years. He disclosed this after having a closed-door meeting with the contractors in charge of the project.
According to Wike, the iconic Millennium Tower, which has been abandoned due to paucity of funds, would be completed in the next two years under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
He has answered some interview questions while attending to journalists after the meeting with contractors. However, during the interview, He said…
“I can tell you it is not easy to go into that project, but we have decided that whatever it takes, it is going to be one of the legacy projects for President Bola Tinubu.
“We are looking at the next two years if the way we are going to structure our payment is agreeable with the contractor”
