As a striker in the Belgian Women’s First Division, Eden’s mom played until she was three months pregnant. After ending their professional football careers, both parents entered the teaching profession. In 2009, Thierry decided to retire so that he could spend more time with his family.
To this union four children were born, the eldest of whom was Eden Hazard. He played for the majority of his career with Chelsea, a club from the English Premier League, for whom he won multiple trophies. Each of his three brothers also pursues a career in football. In 2012, he and his brother Thorgan both played for Chelsea before the elder went to Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2015 and the younger to Borussia Dortmund in 2019.
Besides Kylian and Ethan, Hazard still had a few younger siblings. Kylian signed with White Star Bruxelles on July 15, 2013, and then moved to Chelsea, while Ethan is still developing his skills at the young level with Eden’s old club Tubize.
