Medical Conditions That Can Make A Person Slump And Die

Seeing someone one day and finding out the next that they have passed away is one of the most terrible things that can happen. These kinds of fatalities are often more surprising because the deceased appeared healthy and showed no indicators of sickness. Such deaths have been all too common in Nigeria in recent years, to the point that even an apparently fit person can droop and be heard to have been unrevivable despite all efforts…….Continue Reading

What, therefore, is the cause of these premature deaths? They can be caused by a number of factors, including but not limited to “silent killer diseases” that do not manifest their deadly effects until a late stage in their development. Most cases of unexpected death are thought to involve the heart and the brain, according to medical experts. In this post, we’ll take a closer look at two (2) medical problems that can cause people to suddenly become ill and fall, scaring their loved ones.

These are the two issues that will be addressed:

1, Cardiac Arrest, Sudden

Blood is pumped through the heart’s valves and to the rest of the body’s organs with the help of an electrical spark created when muscle cells contract in unison to form a pulse, as stated on WebMD. The inflammation of the heart’s electrical system, on the other hand, can disrupt this mechanism, preventing it from generating the actions that keep the heart beating. If the heart muscle failed, no blood would reach the rest of the body, and the brain in particular would die.

Many different heart conditions, including blood clots, inflammation of the heart muscle, cardiomyopathy, restriction of the aortic valve, and others, can lead to a heart suddenly stopping beating. According to medicalnewstoday, diet is a big factor in most occurrences of sudden cardiac arrest, therefore reducing your consumption of certain foods that are bad for your heart is a smart idea.

Examples include alcoholic beverages, as well as sugary and salty foods like candy, soda, baked goods, white rice, pasta, bread, pizza, and fried dishes.

2nd Stroke

Stroke is an additional unexpected killer of humans. If the brain’s blood supply is suddenly cut off, brain cells will die. Brain cell loss is devastating and can be fatal if it occurs in the region of the brain that regulates the body’s autonomic life support systems, such as breathing and heart rate. The patient may be in a coma if the stroke is so severe that recovery is unlikely.

Stroke risk factors include high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and excess body fat. Stroke risk can be greatly reduced by avoiding certain foods that have been linked to an increased risk of stroke. Some examples of such foods include those that are high in salt, saturated fat, trans fat, cholesterol, and alcohol content.
