“It was such a huge problem for me when I was in Law school, and I was telling people that I want to be a comedian” he stated.

“They were like, ‘you spent 5 years in school, and another 1 year in law school, and you want to become a comedian?”

He added that it became an easy choice for him after he spotted Nigerian rapper, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, in an MTN pulse advert.

“Most times, when you want to do something, it’s always easier when there’s someone who has done that same thing. So I was like, ‘is that not Falz the bad guy? He studied law now! I remember his MTN Pulse advert; I saw it on TV recently,” MC Lively said.

Falz, the son of Femi Falana, a Nigerian lawyer and Human right activist, studied Law at the University before switching to entertainment.
