Dr. Sam Amadi, a director at the Abuja School of Social and Political Theory, asserts that President Bola Tinubu’s Southern Region ministers are capable technocrats. In an interview with AIT , he claimed that the ministries given to them also have an economic focus in order to advance the economy. With his nomination as a minister, he claims that President Bola Tinubu looks to have acted in the interests of several geopolitical zones.

He said, ”If you look at the distribution of the geo-politics of this position. You will agree that many of the guys from the South Coast are technocrats with a lot of competence. They are also taking up ministries with a financial focus. Many of them also appear to be excellent politicians, and I believe they are supporting agriculture and military with their positions. It appears that there is a reflection of global strategic interest.”
