Manchester United Star Mason Greenwood Granted Bail After Private Hearing

Following a closed-door hearing on a bail request on Wednesday at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court, a court representative announced that bail had been approved with the requirements that the defendant refrain from contacting any witnesses, including the complainant, and maintain residence at a Bowdon address on Bow Green Road
Throughout the brief hearing, Greenwood was absent.
He had been out on bail since, but on Saturday, he was taken into custody near Trafford for allegedly breaking the terms of his release.
Following the allegations, Greenwood was placed on administrative leave by Manchester United, kicked out of FIFA 22, and had his sponsorship agreement with Nike canceled.
A statement from the club on Saturday said: “Manchester United notes that criminal charges have been brought against Mason Greenwood by the Crown Prosecution Service.
