Man Lures His Ex- Girlfriend To A Hotel, Asks Her To Remove Her Clothes, Pour Hot Water All Over Her Body

A man who lured his ex- partner to a hotel room, tied her up, and then doused her with boiling water has been sentenced to six years in prison.

It was gathered that Sam Wild, 38, also known as Sam Barlow, forced his ex- partner to meet him at a hotel in Meadowhall, Sheffield after drinking cocktails in the city center earlier that evening.

He soon tied her up and began pouring searing hot water from a kettle that he had just boiled all over her body and face before escaping, leaving her bound and in severe agony.

Eventually, the lady was able to escape, alerting hotel workers who then phoned the police.

It was said that the victim suffered first- and second- degree burns as a result of the assault and was described as being psychologically traumatized by the experience.

The Protecting Vulnerable People (PVP) team from Sheffield’ s PC Jane Guest claimed in court that Wild and his victim had previously been in a relationship but were no longer together at the time of the horrifying and planned crime.

Jane stated in court, ” That night Wild lured his vulnerable ex- partner to a hotel room and tricked her into taking her clothes off. She later told officers that she believed Wild wanted to have sèx with her and she was too scared to refuse. He used this pretence to tie her up and then, with no thought for her safety, poured boiling water over her face and body.
