Timothy Osadolor, the PDP’s deputy national youth leader, claims that Philip Shaibu, the deputy governor of Edo State, cannot compel the PDP to make him King. The deputy governor is permitted to run in the Edo State PDP primary, he said in an interview with Arise Tv . However, he pointed out that Shaibu needed to be aware of the state’s recent political history.

”In Edo, the deputy governor comes from a zone where the first deputy governor of the state had come from,” he added. Shaibu and Comrade Adams Oshomhole are both from the same local authority. Philip Shaibu has been the deputy governor for the last eight years. It is only reasonable to assume that all other people would have the opportunity to aspiration for the sake of equality.

No one is denying his ability to aspiration, but he cannot compel us to make him King. It’s bad, in my opinion, but there is still time for him to go back and make peace with people he insulted.”
