Peter Obi, the Labour Party’ s presidential candidate for the February 25 presidential election, predicted that his group would triumph in the Imo State governorship election on November 11, according to PUNCH report.
At the launch of the party’ s campaigns in the state on Tuesday in Owerri, the state capital, Obi noted that the LP is renowned for performance and excellence.
According to Obi, the people of Abia State now have hope and are experiencing good administration since a ” first- class brain” who is knowledgeable in his field is now the governor of the state, which his party controls.
Obi declared, ” Abure is our party’ s national chairman. There isn’ t another chairman here. Imo State will go to LP. The party’ s sole candidate, Athan Achonu, is the top choice for Imo State. I’ m glad the procedure hasn’ t been altered. I have faith in the procedure. Nigeria needs leaders who will follow their own advice. We are aware of what Nigeria needs to improve. We are here for that reason. Imo State can be changed, and we know how to do it. There is optimism in Abia right now because of the government. Alex Otti, the governor of Abia State, claimed to be in charge of the primary election that resulted in Achonu becoming the LP’ s nominee for governor in the state.

He declared that he would be the first physically challenged person to be elected governor, making history in the process.
