Tinubu Has Broken Custom; He Now Walks On The Streets To Interact With People" -Ajuri Ngelale

During a recent interview on Channels Television, Ajuri Ngelale, the Aide to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Media and Publicity, highlighted a significant difference between the current administration and the past one.

According to Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu has broken a tradition by engaging with the people directly after attending Friday prayers in Abuja or Lagos. Instead of heading straight to his car, the President walks the streets of the facility to interact with citizens.

Part of his statement reads, “If you observe, you will see that President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has broken a custom. When the president attends Friday prayers in Abuja or Lagos state, he walks on the streets of the facility he is in to interact with the people, instead of going directly into his car.”

He emphasized that this approach goes beyond mere optics, as they aim to establish a structure within the presidency to gather first-hand information about the people’s concerns.

Ajuri Ngelale also mentioned their intention to transform the previously inaccessible glass house into an open and accessible place for citizens, breaking the record of it being like a maximum security prison in the past.
