The United States of America has sent a message praising the president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for making effort to remove the military Junta that has taken over govt in Niger Republic
It is no longer news that the military men headed by Colonel Abdourahamane Tchiani forcefully took over power from the elected president, Muhammed Bazoum
The incident, however, has generated so many reactions from individuals and countries from around the world
In a statement made by the United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, he praised Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who happens to be the leader of the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, for making efforts to remove the junta who forcefully took over power in the country
According to VANGUARD NEWSPAPER, Blinken revelaed how he spoke with Tinubu and praised him for all his efforts
He said ” when I spoke with ECOWAS Leader, I praised his leadership style and all that he has been doing to put Niger Republic in order according to the constitution”
