Somewhere around August 2021, Ghana was thrown into a state of constant fear after about a 28-year-old man who was arrested with human body parts stored in his fridge hit.  In the course of the investigation, the main suspect in the murder case decided to open up about some of his chilling activities and motivation for killing human beings. The suspect, 28-year-old Richard Appiah was reported to have told investigators that he started killing dogs before switching to killing human beings.

Ghana’s police sources said Richard told his interrogators that something urged him to kill a black dog, which he did but later ate just the head of the domestic animal. According to the source, “there is evidence to show that he really killed a black dog first before he turned to the people he killed. That ‘something’ he is claiming influenced him to commit the heinous crimes, we do not know. The police do not dwell on spirits to do an investigation.”
