Keyamo Reacts After He & Wike Met With Representatives Of A Community Within The FCT Yesterday

The new Minister of Ation and immediate past Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Festus Keyamo has reacted after Nyesom Wike and he met with representatives of a community in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

Festus Keyamo, a former spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council made this known on his verified Twitter page today.

Nyesom Wike, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party and immediate past Governor of Rivers State is the new Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT. The two political leaders assumed offices last week after they were sworn in as Ministers by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. They had earlier been screened and confirmed by the upper chamber of the national assembly.

Reacting on his verified Twitter page, Festus Keyamo said; “Yesterday, my colleague in the FCT Ministry, his Minister of State and myself met with the Sarki of Jiwa and representatives of the community within the FCT and peacefully resolved the issues of compensation and ancillary matters which hindered the commencement of the construction of the second runway at the Abuja International Airport.”

The former Spokesperson for the defunct All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council added; “We announced the full package of compensation by the FG which they accepted. The contractors are expected to immediately mobilise to site.”
