Just In: Atiku Breaks Silence, Reveals Next Action Over the Judgement Delivered By The Tribunal

The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the 2023 general election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has broken silence following the judgement delivered yesterday by the Presidential Election Petition Court.

The former vice president made this known on his verified facebook page on Thursday. Atiku stated that his decision to go to court is anchored in his belief that the court is the sanctuary of Justice.

Speaking further, Atiku stated that he had asked his lawyers to activate his constitutionally guaranteed rights of appeal to the higher court. “It is is my conviction that the electoral process in Nigeria should be devoid of untidy manipulations and that the outcome of every election should be a perfect reflection of the wishes of the electorate” he wrote

He also urged his supporters to remain steadfast and to take solace in an immortal lesson he learnt from former president Yar’Adua that loosing a battle is less important than loosing a war.
