We're Coming Out With Blueprint to Increase Membership of Our Party – APC National Chairman, Ganduje

Senator Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), said that the leadership of the party will come out with a blueprint in order to increased it membership. Ganduje made the statement on Wednesday after a closed-door meeting with Simon Lalong, the former Governor of Plateau State.

Ganduje said that the recent visit of Nyesom Wike, the former Governor of Rivers State to his residence on Monday was not about the remoured of his defection to APC.

However, Ganduje admitted that if a prominent figure like Wike were to join the ruling party, it would increased the chances of the APC in 2027 elections. According to him, “It will certainly improve the chances of our party in 2027.

Ganduje stated: “Wike is a minister-designate, so he came and we had a conversation because I’m looking for him to congratulate him on his appointment. But we didn’t discussed the issues of his coming to APC or not.

“We are coming out with a blueprint to increase the membership of our party and this plan also includes various levels of officials; those who are members of APC and those who are in other political parties.”
