JAMB Registrar, Oloyede Reveals What He Told Oby Ezekwesili About Mmesoma’s Result Falsification

The Registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Professor Ishaq Oloyede has revealed what he told former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili concerning the result falsification by Mmesoma Ejikeme.

Mmesoma Ejikeme, who hails from Anambra State in the South East geopolitical zone of the country was accused of fraudulently inflating her 2023 UTME score.

The student has since denied that she inflated her score in a trending video. She noted that she printed her JAMB result from their official portal.

Reacting to the development, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, who is a former Vice Chancellor of University of Ilorin in Kwara State said; “The truth is that JAMB has concluded the investigation on Nmesoma’s score falsification matter. She was not the only one caught, just that others have chosen not to go out”

He added; “We improved on our facilities this year, so Ejikeme and her collaborators are still living in the past. I spoke with Mrs Ezekwesili on the matter and I told her that it is a high-level scam and I told her that it was a careless forgery”

The former University don stated further; “This is because we are no longer using some of the things they used in changing those results since 2021. We used that pattern in 2021 and you saw what happened and many of such individuals were caught as well and they were treated accordingly,”

The recent statement by Professor Ishaq Oloyede which was shared by The Punch paper on its verified Facebook page has generated a lot of reactions from many Nigerians.
