It's Unfortunate If Anybody Associates Me With The G5; I Don't Identify With Any Of Them—Abdullahi

During an interview with AIT , Ibrahim Abdullahi, the deputy national Publicity secretary of the PDP, stated that it’s unfortunate if anybody associates him with the G5, pointing out that he doesn’t remember identifying with any of them. He added that he only believed in the fairness and justice that the G5 were also clamouring for.

He revealed that he studied the implications of losing the election at the time when the PDP was threading the path that they followed. He also revealed that the party only prioritised the presidency without taking the other factors into consideration.

When asked if he was on the side of the G5 during the election, he said, “No, I was on the side of fairness and justice. It’s unfortunate if anyone associates me with them. I don’t remember identifying with any one of them personally. I was just looking at the implication of losing the election, as at the time we were going the way we were going. And then, all of the things we said—even in this studio, I told you—if we had a presidency now led by the PDP, you and I know that the story would have been different. But we say it is more important to have the presidency to win the election for Nigerians for the party as opposed to any other consideration whatsoever, but they said no, they want to go the way they were going. ”
