The Unconfirmed Ministerial Nominee Who Played God Is Now At The Mercy Of Those Wielding Power – Shehu Sani

The Former Senator that represented the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Shehu Sani, has noted the unconfirmed ministerial nominee, who arrogantly played God and who was intoxicated with power when he was in charge as governor is now at the mercy of those wielding power.

Speaking further, the former lawmaker made it known that a religious extremist with a fanatical political agenda should have no place in the seat of power if Nigeria desires peace.

Senator Shehu Sani made this disclosure in a tweet he made on his verified twitter handle, while reacting to the failure of the Nigerian Senate to confirm the immediate past Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, over security clearance.

Senator Shehu Sani wrote; “The Unconfirmed Ministerial nominee; The Imp who was intoxicated with power, and who arrogantly played God is now at the mercy of those wielding power. A religious extremist with a fanatical political agenda should have no place in the seat of power if that nation desires peace.”

It should be recalled that the senate yesterday confirmed 45 ministerial nominees who were sent to them by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, but failed to confirm Ex Gov El-Rufai, Stella Okotete from Delta State and Sani A Danladi from Taraba State over security clearance.

Senator Shehu Sani and the immediate past Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, have been political rivalries over the years and Shehu Sani had on several occasions accused El-Rufai of plotting to kill him. With the way things are going, it does not look as if the rivalry will end soon.
