Instead Of Haunting That Embezzles Govt Fund, BAT's Administration Bullies The Weak – Segun Sowunmi

Segun Sowunmi, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, described the administration of President Bola Tinubu as the type of government that bullies the weak. He added that people are afraid ‘cos of what thugs might do to them on the street.

Also, Sowunmi said that it was a thing of abnormality that Dr. Maryam Shetty was replaced with Mairiga Mahmud as the ministerial nominees without the knowledge of Shetty.

While speaking on on Politics Today, a program on Channels Television, Segun Sowunmi revealed that the steps that President Tinubu has taken so far since he assumed office is faulty but did’nt want to say much on it until the President had spent 100 days in office before he assesses him. Also, he was disappointed with the steps taken so far by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Speaking further, Sowunmi said that it was a bad thing for the President to announce removal of subsidy on the day he was inaugurated as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria when nothing and palliatives were in place in other to ease the hardship such decision would bring upon the citizens.

According to Sowunmi, both the Senate president and the Number citizen of the country, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu show no concern about the hardship faced by Nigerians. He said that the administration of BAT has been bullying the weak rather than haunting those who have embezzled funds from the government.
