INEC Told To Disqualify Peter Obi & Datti Baba- Ahmed Ahead Of 2023 Polls, SEE WHY

One of the reasons given by the group is that the presidential candidate of the labor party violated the law of the country by seeking funds from the diaspora. The group added that the electoral act prohibited candidates from receiving funds from foreign countries to fund political campaigns.
Revealing what would happen should INEC fail to remove the name of Peter Obi and Datti Baba- Ahmed from the ballot paper, the spokesman of the group added that the law court would be approached in other for the court to fully decide the fate of Peter Obi and labor party.
Adebanjo Moyosore added that it was not only illegal and wrong to seek finance from the diaspora but it is also very wrong for someone like Peter Obi and his campaign group to ignore the interpretation of the law.
According to a report from Leadership News, a group under the platform of the APC has asked INEC to disqualify Peter Obi and Datti Baba- Ahmed ahead of the 2023 polls.
