INEC Issued Certificate Of Return To Gwani Alkali After Defeating PDP Candidate In Court [Photos]

Sequel to the appeal court/tribunal judgement which declared that Hon. Gwani Muhammad Adam Alkali OON having scored the highest number of votes is the duly elected member representing Bassa/Jos North Federal constituency of Plateau, and in light of the foregone the Independent National Electoral Commission has today 04/11/2022 issued a certificate of return to Hon. Gwani Muhammad Adam Alkali (OON) to that effect.

Hence, pending the return of the National Assembly from oversight recess for official swearing in at the NASS, Hon. Alkali (OON) remained the duly elected member for Bassa/Jos North constituency.

Meanwhile, constituents are assured of qualitative and inclusive representation.

However, We hope this will be a milestone development to the people of plateau state.
