According to a news that was published by the Punch paper online this evening, it was reported that the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, was heard in a video telling members of the upper legislative chamber, that an undisclosed amount of money had been sent to each of them, in order for them to use to enjoy their holidays.

It was reported that after this statement, the Nigerian senators were angry with the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, after he exposed that they have received money from ministerial screening in a video that went viral on Wednesday.

Senator Godswill Akpabio, while he was talking did not reveal the amount of money the senators receiver in their account, as he said this while addressing his colleagues before the adjournment of a motion moved by one of the senators.

In the viral video, Senator Godswill Akpabio said, “In order to enable all of us to enjoy our holidays, a token has been sent to our various accounts by the clerk of the national assembly.”
