In A Few Weeks' Time, We Will Reveal Those Behind The Killings And Insecurity In Imo State- Uzodinma
The Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has promised that soon, he will reveal those who are behind the killings and insecurity in the state.
During the interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Friday September 1, Uzodinma was asked how he intends to go about that.
In his response, he said that he has charged the security operatives to go after the criminal elements and fish out those behind the criminality in the state.
In addition to that, Uzodinma said that the killings and insecurity in the state are politically motivated.
He said – “In a few weeks’ time – what we have deployed now, we will soon unravel those behind the killings and insecurity in Imo State.”
In recent years, Imo State has witnessed a rise in killings and security instability. Several people have been killed by the hoodlums and properties worth millions of naira have been lost to the violent attacks.
The police and the military have been waging war against these criminal elements in a bid to restore peace and stability in the state. However, some people believe that the government has not done enough to tackle the menace in the state.
With the promise from Governor Uzodinma to unravel those behind the insecurity challenges in the state, many are hoping that the promise will be kept.
