Tribunal: Just Like Other 2 Arms, The Judiciary Needs Citizens To Demand Transparency-Oby Ezekwesili

The Former Minister of Education, Dr Mrs Oby Ezekwesili, has made it known that just like the other 2 arms of government, the Executive and the Legislature, the Judiciary always needs the ctizens to demand transparency, probity, integrity and accountability for their huge constitutional responsibility.

Speaking further, the former Education Minister made it known that she absolutely has her eyes on the Nigerian Judiciary and delighted to see many other Nigerian citizens do too. She went further and noted All Eyes On The Judiciary is one of the best things that has happened to our Judiciary, the 3rd Arm of Government, in recent times.

Dr Mrs Oby Ezekwesili made this disclosure in a tweet she made on her verified twitter handle on Friday afternoon.

Some parts of her tweet read: “Just like the other 2 Arms- Executive and Legislature, the Judiciary always needed our Citizens to demand probity, utmost integrity, transparency and accountability for their huge constitutional responsibility. “

Furthermore, she noted that one of the critical things Nigerians will learn in Policy School is to always keep their Message simple for your target audience.

In addition, she stated it clearly that the Judiciary has a Message from Citizens, who understand the importance of their country joining the league of countries that have through uncompromising adherence to Democratic Processes, built lasting institutions required for Development.

Within the past few days, #AllEyesOnTheJudiciary has been trending on social media platforms, as a result of the ongoing Presidential Election Petition Tribunal judgment. As it stands now, Nigerians are hoping that the court will deliver a credible judgement, so as to move the country forward.
