I'll Never Allow One Person To Be Blackmailed, Humiliated Or Punished For Any Wrong He Didn't Do-Obi

Labour Party’s Presidential candidate, Peter Obi in an interview with Chude Jideonwo (WithChude) has disclosed why he would never allow one person to be blackmailed, humiliated or punished for a crime he didn’t commit.

Peter Obi started by asking how the money recoverd from Sani Abacha helped the economy, replying to this, the host said it is the reason why Nigerians want Peter Obi to be president because they know he will recover looted funds and do meaningful things with it.

Replying the host, Peter Obi said he wouldn’t do that as a President because there are more serious and pressing issues that needs to be taken care of.

Speaking on why he wouldn’t allow one person to be humiliated, blackmailed or punished for something he didn’t do, Peter Obi said “When you’re not stealing, your family isn’t stealing and those around you are not stealing too, you reduce it by 70% because you’re going to approve what people will steal. In the course of doing this, if we have an empirical evidence that someone has done the wrong thing, I will investigate it, not noose making, not blackmailing. I will never allow one person to be blackmailed, humiliated or punished for any wrong he didn’t do”.
