Shehu Sani Reacts After Plateau Gov Said They've Received N2B Which Includes 52% Grants & 48% Loan

Former Kaduna lawmaker and member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Shehu Sani, responded to Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s announcement that the state had received N2 billion out of the N5 billion federal government palliative fund.

Mutfwang shared a video on his verified Twitter page, detailing how the received funds were utilized. He stated that the money comprised a 52% grant component and a 48% loan component. Furthermore, he mentioned that a portion of the N5 billion was allocated for purchasing rice locally, with N1 billion set aside for that purpose.

In response to the video, Shehu Sani raised a question regarding whether a portion of the shared money was designated as a loan.

In my opinion, I believe the Governor of Plateau should try and be a little clear to Senator Shehu Sani, and to the people of Jos, and to Nigerians about the palliative money.
