If This Threat Is Allowed, It's Going To Have An Effect On The Country's Food Safety – Sani Yakubu

A member of the House of Representatives representing Tangaza/Gudu Federal Constituency of Sokoto State, Sani Yakubu, has raised alarm, pronouncing jihadists from Niger, Mali, and Libya, and the nearby bandits working in Tangaza Local Government of the kingdom have imposed a tax on farmers within the location.

Yakubu, who disclosed this even as imparting a movement at plenary yesterday, stated Tangaza/Gudu Federal Constituency is surrounded by forests: Tsauna Forest, which stretches over to Gwadabawa, Illela, and the Niger Republic; and Kuyan Bana Forest, which additionally stretches to Gudu and the Niger Republic.

Revealing that the terrorists within the regions had joined forces, Yakubu stated that they’d seemingly vowed to make lifestyles hard for the folks that are predominantly farmers.

He stated: The forests are the residence of terrorist groups, the Lakurawa, who claimed to be jihadists from Niger, Mali, and Libya, and the nearby bandits terrorizing the location.

“The once sworn enemies have now joined forces, making it extra hard for the deployed safety operatives to cope with the lack of confidence within the preferred location.

“After the lethal act, the terrorist released any other assault to save you humans from giving their cherished ones a befitting burial.

“The humans of the location are predominantly farmers and farm animal rearers, and terrorists have vowed to prevent this year’s farming activities if the groups refuse to pay tax.

‘’If this threat is allowed, it’s going to significantly have an effect on the country’s food safety if appropriate measures aren’t installed.”

Adopting the movement, the House advised the army to install extra employees and hardware to brush the forests to flush out the criminals. In addition, it requested that the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, offer remedies to sufferers of the unlucky assault.
