He stated, “However, if Niger, Burkina Faso, and/or Mali attack Nigeria or any of our ECOWAS allies, or if they intrude on our soil, our response must be swift and decisive.”

Fani-Kayode emphasized the importance of defending Nigeria and its allies, suggesting measures like expulsion, occupying their territories, taking over Niamey, toppling their military government, and restoring democracy in their country. He compared a small conflict to a puppy nibbling at a lion’s toes, implying the need to teach a lesson.

He also mentioned the possibility of seeking support from Executive Outcomes, which includes Blackwater and other western mercenaries, should the Wagner Group intervene. Noting that Wagner Group is not the only mercenary force worldwide.

The former Minister encouraged Nigerians to be resolute and not fear mentioning the names of other countries. He expressed hope for a peaceful resolution but assured that Nigeria is prepared and capable to defend itself with the help of available resources and connections.
