I Will Help President Tinubu To Negotiate With Bandits If He Calls Me – Sheikh Gumi
An Islamic scholar and a medical doctor, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has stated that he is ready to help President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government negotiate with bandits if he invites him. Vanguard News reports that Sheikh Gumi said this in an interview with Trust TV.
It would be recalled that Sheikh Gumi, who has repeatedly canvassed need for dialogue between bandits and government as a means of ending the crisis, played a significant role in negotiations with armed herdsmen under the previous government before the process went cold.
