Asari Mujahid Dokubo who happens to be the leader of the Niger delta militants, has recently made a statement about the former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari. According to a recent publication made by Sahara Reporters, Asari Dokubo revealed that he was hired by ex President Muhammadu Buhari to protect the Abuja-Kaduna highway due to the kidnappings and killings that usually occurs there.
Speaking further, Dokubo boasted that his intervention was what restored peace and tranquility to the highway.

He stated that while he was not on good terms with Buhari for most of his government, the ex-President recognised the potential in him and assigned him a critical duty.
