I Want Atiku To Deny What He Said In My House After The Convention / Then I Will Say Many Things-Wike

After Walid Jibrin resigned as chairman of the PDP’s Board of Trustees and was swiftly replaced by a southerner, the Vanguard Newspaper Online reported last evening that Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State had reacted.

According to what he said, Atiku Abubakar advised Wike that Senator Iyorchia Ayu must resign as party chairman.>>>>>CONTINUE READING HERE>>>>>

He said, “When we finished our convention on Sunday, our presidential candidate (Atiku Abubakar) came to see me in my house in Abuja on Monday around 10:30 am. He told me ‘I want us to work together,’ and then he said, ‘look, Ayu must go.’”

According to Wike, when he questioned Atiku about why he had suggested Ayu must resign, Atiku replied, “Because, when a candidate comes from the Northern part of the country, the chairman will come from the Southern half of the country.”

Wike continued by saying that all he asks for now is that Atiku follow through on what he told him back then, and that he has done nothing wrong.

He said, “So, I want the presidential candidate to deny this. If he denies it, I will go further to say so many things to Nigerians because enough is enough.”
