'The NLC Was Scared To Even Come Out To Protest When Buhari Was President Of This Nation' – Fayose

The Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has alleged that the NLC did not have the bravery to come out and protest while former President Muhammadu Buhari was in office. He said in an interview with TVC news that the NLC shouldn’t have expected anything much from President Bola Tinubu when he’s yet to appoint his ministers. He stated further that the NLC never carried out any strike action when Buhari was President. 

He said, ”With all due respect, the NLC are jesters. The first question you should ask is if somebody came to office within two months and there is no minister yet, what do you expect of him? Even when Buhari was there, how many strikes did they carry out? 

The NLC was scared to even come out to protest when Buhari was President of this Nation. It is funny how they stopped the protest now, why did they not continue? They said they went to see the President, what has changed overnight within 24 hours that made them stop.”
