I Never Thought I Was Going To Be Here As President, But God Almighty Has Brought Me- Tinubu Says

The Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has noted that he never knew that was going to be Nigeria’s president one day, but God Almighty eventually made him president, assuring Nigerians that he is committed in making sure that Nigerians works.

Speaking further, Bola Tinubu made it known that he understands perfectly well that Nigerians are suffering, but there can’t be childbirth without pain, noting that the joy of childbirth is the relief that comes after the pain. He went on and made it known that Nigeria is reborn already with fuel subsidy removal.

Bola Tinubu made this disclosure when he received the18 governors who served as governors at the same time as him – Class of 1999 – at the Presidential Villa. Tinubu also appealed for more patience from Nigerians, Sahara Reporters reported.

He said; “We served as governors and sat in this Council Chamber. All I wanted was democracy and the salvation of the country. I never thought I was going to be here as President, but God Almighty has brought me.”

Furthermore, President Tinubu assured Nigerians that the palliative is coming, noting that he doesn’t want cash transfer to fall into wrong hands. He went further and noted that he is aware that it pinches and it is difficult, assuring Nigerians that everybody will rejoice in the prosperity of the country at the end.

In addition, Nigeria’s President noted that Nigerians not make meaningful progress, without fixing electricity, thereby assuring Nigerians that his administration will harness gas resources, and explore every opportunity to ensure stable power generation and supply.

It should be recalled that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, yesterday met with some governors who served as governors, the time he was the Governor of Lagos State. A total of 19 ex Governors were in attendance, while 10 had passed on.
