There will be more drama to witness at the Tribunal because more Senators will be unseated – Primate Ayodele
Primate Elijah Ayodele, who leads the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, shared his opinion about the recent decision by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. They confirmed that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former Governor of Lagos State and a key figure in the All Progressives Congress, won the presidential election.
According to The Sun paper, Ayodele projected that there would be more drama and the potential unseating of Senators, House of Representatives members, and perhaps certain governors through the tribunal process. He saw that Nigerians’ trust in the election system was dwindling. Ayodele speculated that the power behind the mantra “Emilokan” was at work, rather than Tinubu himself. He claimed that this spiritual force had already vanquished Peter Obi and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential contenders who had disputed Tinubu’s victory in the tribunal.
“There will be more drama to witness at the tribunals,” he says. Tribunals will still depose additional Senators. More House of Representatives members will still leave. Some governors are at risk of losing at the tribunals. Nigerians’ trust in the electoral system is eroding. After the Supreme Court’s decision, confidence will plummet even further since the power behind Emilokan will cover up any flaws in the previous election. It is not Tinubu at work, but the spirit of Emilokan, which has already defeated Obi and Atiku.”
