I Know APC Didn't Win And LP Didn't Come 3rd, As For PDP, I Don't Know Their Position -Osuntokun

As Nigerians closely follow the proceedings of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal currently taking place in the nation’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Balogun Akin Osuntokun, a prominent Southwest politician and Labour Party chieftain, has asserted that the results presented by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) do not accurately reflect the true outcome of the February 25 polls.

During an interview on Channels TV’s ‘Sunrise Daily’ on Friday, July 14, Osuntokun, who served as the Director-General of the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council during the election, claimed that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) did not secure the first position as indicated by INEC, and the Labour Party did not come third as declared by the electoral body. Osuntokun also raised doubts about the position of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as presented by INEC.

He stated, “INEC announced fraudulent results, which is why we are challenging the results in court. The result you are quoting is one that we never accepted. The APC did not come first, and regarding the PDP, I am not sure which position they attained. However, we did not come third. Unfortunately, I cannot disclose the specific results we have as it may appear as if I am preempting the court proceedings. It is also important to note that INEC, with its lack of credibility, cannot be expected to provide accurate results, despite the criticisms from both Nigerians and non-Nigerians.”
