I Had To Wait For 55 Minutes For Tinubu's 60 Cars To Pass Before Going To Work- Dan Ulasi

Dan Ulasi, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, has criticized Nigerian politicians for living extravagant lifestyles while urging citizens to be patient during economic crises. He shared an incident where he personally witnessed Bola Tinubu, a prominent politician, commuting to work in Abuja with an extensive motorcade, which caused a 55-minute traffic jam. Ulasi expressed disappointment in Tinubu’s use of around 60 vehicles for his daily commute while simultaneously preaching patience to Nigerians.

Ulasi questioned how people could be expected to remain patient when their leaders displayed such opulence. He highlighted the irony of politicians living lavish lives while citizens suffer the consequences of economic hardships.

He further criticized the overall leadership in Nigeria, stating that many states were flooded, yet politicians continued to enjoy luxurious lifestyles. This observation highlights the apparent disconnect between the rulers and the ruled, with politicians seemingly unaffected by the challenges faced by ordinary citizens.
