'I Don't Have Any Computer, Photocopy Machine Or Visitors Chairs In My Office' – Sen Imaseun

The Senator representing Edo South, Neda Imaseun has alleged that the appropriated 70 billion naira is for the facelift of the National Assembly. According to Sun , he lamented over the fact that he doesn’t have a computer and basic amenities in his office. He stated further that the money is not as huge as Nigerians perceive it to be.

He said, ”On the political leaders making a sacrifice, for the Senate when we came on, we were surprised that most of the offices didn’t have furniture like Chairs, tables, and computers. In my office, I don’t have any computer, photocopy machine or visitor chairs. It is unbelievable.

So the money that you are talking about that has been voted, is to provide these necessities for the parliamentarians to work. We have about 360 House of Reps members. So, when you look at that amount of money it looks huge, but when you begin to look at what it is supposed to do, you will realize that it’s not as huge as you think.”
