I dare Wike to quote the constitution of the PDP, where it says power must come to the South- Dele Momodu

According to a news that was published by the Thisday paper online this morning, it was reported that a veteran journalist, and Atiku Abubakar and Ifeanyi Okowa Presidential Campaign Director of Communications, during the February 25th presidential election, Mr Dele Momodu, has told the Minister of the FCT, and the former Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike that he is not the owner of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and therefore, he can be disciplined if there is any infraction established against him by the disciplinary committee of the party.

Nyesom Wike, during his interview with Channels Television correspondent in Abuja yesterday said that, nobody in the party can discipline him or suspend him, because he took permission from the Rivers state chairman of the party before he accepted the ministerial offer by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

While he was reacting to Nyesom Wike’s utterances, the former communications director claimed that there was no place in his party’s constitution that states that power must return to the south.

Momodu asked, “When did Wike become the sole owner of Peoples Democratic Party, that he cannot be disciplined by a 25-year-old political party ? It would have been nice to know if he founded the party or when he acquired majority shares in it since he now has more money than Aliko Dangote.”

Mr Dele Momodu also challenged Nyesom Wike to quote the portion of the party’s constitution that stated that power must come to the southern region.

He stated, “I dare Wike to quote the constitution of the PDP where it says that power must come to the South. He should tell the world the chairman of the zoning committee that threw the contest open to all zones of the party, and why he agreed to buy the presidential nomination form.”
